Real People, Real Style Winners Announced

Telford Shopping Centre has revealed the stars of its ‘Real People, Real Style’ competition, following a search for men and women from around the region to front the advertising for this year’s Autumn/Winter Style Show.

In a bid to celebrate real beauty and individuality, the Centre’s marketing and events team issued a call for the people of Shropshire to fulfil their modelling aspirations and enter online or in-person at a pop-up shop. Nine winners were chosen, with ages ranging from 20 to 69 and with a mix of six females and three males, including one couple. The winners were invited to the Centre to take part in a professional photo shoot. Make-up was courtesy of The Body Shop along with beauty concessions in Debenhams including Bare Essentials, Urban Decay, Estee Lauder, Benefit and Chanel; while the team at Telford’s Toni & Guy were on-hand for hair styling.

Each of the winners were then photographed modelling two ‘looks’ from Autumn/Winter collections, which will soon be arriving at selected retailers in the Centre including M & S, CMD, Scotts, Dorothy Perkins, Diffusion, Clarks and Charlie Browns. The first collection of photographs will be used leading up to the centre's Autumn/Winter Style Show in September with the second collection appearing on the stage itself throughout the show weekend from 9th - 11th October.
