Specsavers - Eye health and regular eye tests

Telford Specsavers are supporting their local community by visiting local schools to talk to children about the importance of eye health and regular eye tests. The store Director Vinay Najran has taken time out of business to raise awareness for children. So far he has visited 2 schools taking along staff from different departments, one being a pre registration optometrist (Gobind), contact lens advisor (Hayley) and an administrator (Amy). The children really enjoyed the chat and found it very useful with us giving out goody bags and getting them involved in quizzes. The schools that we have attended so far are Red Hill Primary School and Apleywood Primary School.

In addition to this the Specsavers team visited a local brownie club (Hollinswood guides and brownies) to give out high visibilty vests and some fun high visibilty slap bands. The children was really appreciative and could not wait to show their families and friends how important it is to be visible at night.
