Telford's Christmas Market

The Telford European Christmas market returns to Telford during the lead up to Christmas.

The German-style wooden chalets will open across Southwater and in the Telford Centre for the first time on Thursday 23rd November, and will run until December 23rd.

This year will see all the traditional elements of a Christmas market with wooden chalets decked with garlands and lights, with exhibitors selling a range of items including jewellery, furniture liqueurs, unique and traditional gift ideas.

In addition, 10 stalls will feature in Sherwood Square inside the Telford Centre selling a range of ceramic goods, toys, confectionary and bespoke gifts.

Katie Broome, marketing manager at the Telford Centre said, “There’s nothing like a Christmas market to get you in the festive spirit. The Telford European Christmas market is always a popular event in the lead up to Christmas, and helps to put Telford on the map.

“We are delighted to be a part of the market following on from the success of last year’s event, and we guarantee this year’s market will be bigger and better than ever.

“Shoppers for the first time ever can visit chalets inside the centre, who will be selling a whole range of festive gifts. From food to drink, toys to crafts, there really is something for everyone.

“It’s the perfect opportunity for shoppers to welcome the festive season.”

The market will be open 10am until 7pm Sunday to Wednesday and 10am until 9pm Thursday to Saturday.

It is organised each year by Telford & Wrekin Council in partnership with Retail Alternatives and supported by The Telford Centre.
